Well the Olympics are coming to Vancouver 2010 and with the expenses rising and other problems, It will happen. The one part other than going to the Olympics and watching, that I am looking forward to , is the torch run through Victoria. It starts in Victoria on and get this what a day. Oct 30, 2009. This is the last day of work I am planning on working before retirement.
Wouldn't that be awesome If I got selected to carry it. I have entered the contests with coke and Royal Bank . Now if anyone has any contacts pass on my name to get selected. What a way to end my 35 plus years as a letter carrier to become a torch carrier. Well that's my dream for now. Have to wait and see.
