LEFT AT LIGHT

The other day just north of Chemanius we saw a sign on the highway, that said "CARVINGS LEFT AT LIGHT". We joked that it could be taken a few ways. It could mean as it was intended I think that you turn left at the light to see some carvings for sale. But then another meaning could be that someone left the carvings at the light or a light. Maybe someone stoled them then felt guilty and returned them and just left them at the light. Or a third meaning could be that the carvings were at the light but somehow they left. Anyway it just shows that words can mislead. Maybe a comma or a simple addition of the word turn . Carvings turn left at light.

Any signs that get you thinking ?

ok till next time

The one that always worries me is "No Exit". It sounds so ominous. Do I really want to go down that road if there is no way I can ever get out again?
"Dead End" is no better. I know we all end up dead, but I don't want to rush it. And besides, death isn't the end anyway, it's the beginning!

King James Bible - John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
