Well we had a great trip to Ottawa , Montreal, Laval, and Blainville for the Canadian Horseshoe Championships of 2011.
The Tournament was held in Blainville Que. at the Equestrian park. 241 entries for this year tournament. Oldest player was 89 yrs old and youngest was 7.
I was in the Men's B event and held my own after 2 days and was in 3rd place with a chance to make a move on the last day. But I played poorly and fell to 4 th. But the overall tournament was great.
We used the tournament as a holiday and saw the sights in Montreal, Laval , and Ottawa. Here in order is Mount Royal in Montreal at dusk, followed by Parliament hill in Ottawa with the Changing of the Guard. And the last picture is the Museum of Civilisation In Gatenau Que.
Next year I will have to do better. 2012 tournament will be held in Saskatoon.
