Well its odd shot day again. This is a cake for a family bbq that was if you believe it or not , not for a 1 yr old. I think it was that the person was a lot older than the amount of candles that the baker wanted to display.

With hte concentration on the candle, I am wondering if everyone is missing the interesting --odd--shape of the cake itself. It reminds me of a birthday cake made for me years ago--also for a barbecue. We had recently moved into our house and had inherited with it a stove with a non-functioning oven. My birthday came along before we got the repair part. My creative hubby and kids made me a cake by stacking and frosting Hostess Twinkies.
