Repeat commercials

I don't know if your like me, but it drives me nuts when I'm watching a TV show or sporting event on TV and you see the same commercial over and over again. I mean these companies have been making commercials for years and years, don't tell me they only have one commercial.

Commercials are suppose to intrigue you to buy the product. But with these same commercials 6 times during a 1 hr show, I'm not intrigued to buy the product. On the other hand I probably will not buy the product.

Now I know the value of getting your name and word out more than once. But does it have to be the same exact message each time. Why not 4 different commercials for the same product. Or I think this is a great way to do it is have say 4 commercials that run into each other in a certain order so you want to see how the next one turns out. Just don't keep putting on the same one over and over and over again.
Enough !!

Sheep lane

well Near Radium hot springs we encountered these big horn sheep. I guess it was rush hour on a Friday afternoon. Or were they just in the sheep lane (use to be called the bike lane but bikes aren't as common here in the winter.) They seem quite use to the traffic.

Kicking Horse

During our recent vacation in March thru the southeastern part of British Columbia we stumbled onto this flagship store and factory of Kicking Horse coffee. It was a very nice experience with all of us trying some different concoction of coffee or tea.

Also I purchased a hat and my son got a t-shit. This picture reflects the different beauty of this area that is so different from Victoria. I love the view of the mountains here with the grasses and boardwalk in the foreground. If your in this area check it out. It is located in the town of Invermere . We were on our way to Radium Hot springs. Now that was interesting too. I'll try and post about that soon too. Ok till then

Not just another log

I d0n't know if you can see by the picture but that's not all logs on the beach. There is an Elephant seal there too. This is taken at the famous willows beach in Oak Bay today. Apparently it is molting and its a normal process that takes about a month. I read a little flyer that the municipality had posted as well as the area was taped off with yellow do not enter tape. The seal will loose most of it's fur and skin and be in the process of growning new . It will flop around and cover it self with sand. A interesting sight to see, one i didn't expect to see.

Family growing soon

Well just back from our trip out to see both our son's and their girlfriends. One was just engaged and the other one just got engaged yesterday . We look forward to adding two more to the family.
Its always an exciting time when couples get engaged and start the planning process.

As for me Ill let them tell me where to be and what to wear, and yes I should sit there and not disrupt anything unless I'm told to do something. But as years go by it will be so nice to have to very beautiful ladies that I can call daughters (in law). We only have boys here so it takes a while to adjust to the ladies.

Dinner in Medicine Hat

Well since both our boys and our nephew just had a birthday earlier this year we decided to go out for dinner together on this trip and celebrate. we went to a new restaurant in the area but I wont reveal the name for certain reasons. This restaurant had just opened and was quite popular but when we got there, we got to our table right away.

Our order was taken. Of 6 of us 3 got our meals first then the other 3 came a while later. One of the first one had a ice cold baked potato. One soup never showed up. So it wasn't going too well here. After the waitress made excuses and apologised we finally had the manager come to our table and say he was sorry. He came by again and said how sorry he was again for the mix up. Then the third time he said that he would pay for dessert for all of us. And top of that he was taking 50% off of the bill. So a bill that would have totaled $140 or more ended up costing us only $59.

So with that the manger said he wanted us to come back again and hoped we would. Well we didn't tell him we were from out of town. But it was a chain restaurant so I'm sure we will see that one again some time. After the generous offer I'm sure I would try it again. Not a bad celebration total anyway. We also did enjoy ourselves.
